By ending last season in the 11th spot of the PWA World Ranking, and adding his 5th World Title to his already extensive record book, Marc Paré aims to confirm himself amongst the big names of world windsurfing in 2018.

Following what he did last preseason, Marc Paré chose South Africa as the destination where to prepare the new year. A proper weather, combined with great sea and wind conditions allowed Paré to sail every day. After 3 long months of intense preparation, Paré has been able to improve his tricks and also his navigation. After shining throughout last year, and confirming himself not only as a young prospect, but also as a reality amongst the world greatest windsurfers, Paré hopes to carry his momentum into 2018, a season that begins with great ambitions and a lot of motivation.

Once he left South Africa, Paré headed to Almerimar (Spain), where he has spent over a week with good sailing. His sensations couldn't be better towards the new Wave season, which is set to begin in Gran Canaria the 15th of June, to continue in Tenerife the 15th of July and end in Sylt the 28th of September. Before all this, Paré will be also competing in his home PWA event at La Costa Brava in the Slalom class, and also in some rounds of the Funboard Spanish Championship.
