Marc Paré Wins the 2024 Tenerife PWA World Cup

Date

Congratulations to Marc Paré and the whole Simmer Style team for a fantastic event at the 2024 Tenerife PWA World Cup.

Marc Paré’s journey to victory was not without its challenges. Earlier this year, he suffered a painful Lisfranc fracture, which could have derailed his world title ambitions. However, he refused to be held back, and with sheer determination and skill, he produced a masterclass performance to win the single elimination ahead of El Medano local Julian Salmonn, multiple World Champion Victor Fernandez, and wave wizard Liam Dunkerbeck. Marc produced top-scoring perfect double forwards on his light wind gear (Flywave 92 and Blacktip 5.3 ) in the semifinal and final, while his wave riding was also exemplary.

Marc did not disappoint in the final of the double elimination against Victor Fernandez, starting with a 7.75-point double in front of Victor, on the first run to set the tone for the heat. Securing the win with a 18.41 point score, against  Fernandez 12.62. After this impressive comeback, Marc is again on the verge of a maiden victory on the World Tour.

Congratulations to Marc Paré from all of us at Simmer Style. No one deserved that win more than you!

A big congratulations to the three Simmer Style riders on the podium in the Master final!
