The Ultimate Performance Wave Sail Just Got Better
1,320 USD – 1,500 USDPrice range: 1,320 USD through 1,500 USD
Built by the Wave World Champion, for the highest level of wave sailing.
Marc Paré, 2025 Wave World Champion, went beyond everything we have built before. He designed the most technically advanced wave sail Simmer Style has ever produced: the 2027 Blacktip Team Carbon.
Introducing our new Q-bonded construction. It fuses all the panels into one, with zero added weight from seams and, more importantly, no stretch. Combined with our hyper-reactive Carbon Scrim, it gives you a sail that feels completely connected, with instant response, power on demand and total control. A higher aspect ratio makes it more manoeuvrable and improves low-end power, and it is lighter to handle. Despite being super light, the sail is designed for durability, to handle the brutal conditions of the world tour.
Designed by Marc Paré for absolute peak performance in competitive wave sailing.

Key Rider Benefits
Lighter and stronger, without compromise
Q-bonded stitchless construction fuses the panels together instead of stitching them. The seams don’t stretch and are 3 to 5 times stronger than standard stitched joins, so the sail body feels more connected and weighs about 8% less.
More direct power and response
The draft has moved back slightly, which adds throttle power and sharpens response. The moment you sheet in, the sail reacts.
Massive wind range
Same trademark top-end wind range as the 2026 Team Carbon, now with improve low-end.
Control and profile stability
New lightweight battens lock in the profile, so you keep control through every turn, jump and rotation.

Panel Layout Designed for Absolute Load Alignment
Form follows function: every panel and patch in the layout is strategically aligned with the sail’s specific load paths across all sizes. The performance benefits are substantial:
Immediate response and control – carbon fibers are precisely aligned with load paths, distributing force instantly for maximum efficiency during critical maneuvers.
Enormous wind range – Team Carbon is engineered for efficiency at both low and high wind, giving full control in overpowered conditions without sacrificing low-end drive.
Effortless performance – light, balanced, and nimble in maneuvers, delivering instant response and explosive rotation the moment you commit.
Benefits with the Carbon Scrim
The Carbon Scrim’s carbon fibres, aligned along the load paths, distribute forces instantly, making the sail hyper-reactive, agile and effortless in manoeuvres. The result is a crisp, direct response when sheeting in or pumping. Stretch control tendons are no longer needed, as each carbon fibre filament acts as a tendon across the sail surface. Despite its lightness, Carbon Scrim is highly durable, maintaining performance and feel season after season.
What are Q-bonded seams?
Q-bond technology fuses multiple panels into a single, seamless structure. A traditional sail is stitched, and the holes and threads let the seams stretch under load. Q-bonded panels have no stitching, so there is nothing to stretch.
Superior strength: fusing two layers of material together creates a bond that is 3 to 5 times stronger than a standard stitched join.
Minimal panel distortion: the panels are connected so completely that load passes through the sail without stretch, so the sail holds its shape.
Performance, Lightness and Durability
Despite being our lightest wave sail ever, the Blacktip Team Carbon is designed for durability, to handle the brutal conditions of the world tour. Marc Paré travels all over the globe with this set of sails, so they need to withstand the most punishing conditions on the planet. Durability features include a 5 mil X-Ply foot panel, reinforced along the leech with a Carbon Scrim patch. Strategically placed carbon reinforcement in the luff panel and batten pockets adds durability in high-tension areas. For maximum strength, the patches are welded, creating stitchless reinforcement for superior durability.
Layered Clew and Foot Panels for Extreme Load Performance
The Gradient Panels in the clew and foot feature overlapped panels that reduce patching while transitioning loads more efficiently into the sail body, reducing stretch over time. Split luff panels radiating from the head and tack corners align the material perfectly with load directions, eliminating bias stretch, increasing power transmission, and enhancing longevity. The result is a lighter, quicker-reacting, and more stable sail.
