G7 FLYBY V53 88L – Proto

This board is version 4 of the Flywave spinoff – the Flyby which features the new rockerline we’ve been working on.  Featuring a curvier center section and faster exit combined with a Vee to double to single (with double) concave bottom shape, for the board to be fast and fall rail to rail more naturally. This one in particular, has a lower entry which offers slightly better early planning and glide into waves. Deeper single and double through the stance and fins which offers extra control and grip throughout the turn. It also has really full and tucked rails in the front which offer a lot of support and smoothness in the bottom turn and help specially in larger choppier surf. Marc rides this board as a quad (14.5/9) and set both rears and fronts all the way forward. A slimmer more swept back or flexier rear fin, fits this design best. Important to set up back footstrap in the second hole. Mast base I set it 1/2mm from the front of the box
