The G7 Freemove is an exciting and user-friendly board designed for more advanced riders, as well as experienced freeracers looking to rent a fast board—especially when charging in open-ocean conditions. The G7 version comes in a fresh new look, built with the same durable Full PVC Sandwich construction. The G7 Freemove will have your customers coming back for more.
The design features a straighter outline both in front of and behind the center, further cementing the Freemove’s position as a class leader in the high-speed free-sailing segment. This refined outline significantly improves jibing efficiency across the entire speed range, with minimal loss of speed on exit. Excellent jibing performance combined with strong acceleration creates an easy-riding all-rounder that can still give many slalom boards a run for their money.
The evolution of the Simmer Freemove continues, combining radical shaping concepts with true all-around versatility. The super-fast, low-drag rocker is now paired with a narrower outline, further enhancing the board’s ability to handle chop. A new blunt nose, together with a thin and flat deck shape in front of the straps, delivers outstanding agility, while the domed deck in the strap area provides the comfort and control needed for confident, full-speed blasting in any water state.
Best of all, this is a high-performance, premium-quality freeracer offered at a highly attractive price point.
DURATEC SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION
Full PVC Sandwich with reinforcement in key areas of the board to create an optimal strength to weight ratio. The construction moves with your movements, rather than against your movements similar to how a pair of modern skies work creating drive out of the turns. The Duratech Sandwich Construction is extremely durable and provides superb performance.

Nose Rocker
A low-rise nose rocker cuts through the water with minimal resistance, delivering explosive early planing and rock-solid stability when the speed builds and conditions get choppy.
Mid Body Rocker
The linearly progressive rocker through the mid section keeps the board free and stable at high speed — absorbing chop and maintaining control so you can hold your line and push harder for longer.
Tail Rocker
A super fast tail section with a tapering double concave Vee — engineered for the perfect combination of explosive early planing and blistering top-end speed. This is where the Freemove earns its reputation.
Vee Shaped Tail
The G7 Freemove’s Vee shaped tail is engineered to do three things exceptionally well: blast off the water early, fly at top speed and carve through gybes with effortless fluidity. The reduced wet surface area keeps drag to a minimum when you’re pushing the limits, while the shortened tail — refined from the previous Freemove — delivers a snappier, more responsive feel that rewards every session.
Outline
Speed means nothing without control. The G7 Freemove’s drawn-in tail behind the back strap keeps you locked in and confident at full throttle, while the straightened outline front and rear of centre delivers explosive early planing and effortless lift. The result is a board that stays composed when conditions get tricky — freeing you to push harder, go faster and stay in control when it matters most.
Multiple Footstrap Plugs. One Board. Endless Possibilities.
The G7 Freemove is designed for you to learn and evolve with the same board. Multiple footstrap settings mean you can tune your ride to your level, style and conditions — without ever needing to upgrade.
Inboard — easier access, earlier planing and a more forgiving feel. The perfect starting point for progressing riders.
Outboard — more leverage, greater control at speed and better upwind performance. This is where the Freemove really comes alive.
Forward or back — fine-tune your stance for earlier planing in lighter winds or more drive and top-end speed when the conditions are on.
One board. Endless possibilities.
The Freemove is probably one of the fastest freemove boards I've ever been on. It has really good high-end control and it cruises nicely. When that extra gusts hits, it holds up on the top-end, accelerating those extra knots. It has a butter-smooth gybe and a really nice carve. It's an awesome freeride board, that's for sure! I use it a lot back home in Portugal.
Freemove allows freedom of choice at almost every level of Windsurfing. Early planing, fantastic top end speed, and a fun factor that keeps on giving, Freemove is a generational design that allows one to pair it with just about any rig and get sensational results.
