Marc Paré’s Epic Season
Marc Paré kicked off his season with a BANG, claiming back-to-back 2nd place podiums in Chile and Maui. In Chile, Marc showed incredible form, scoring the highest wave of the event in the final against Browne, Cloarec, and Juban. He finished 2nd behind Marcilio Browne with a remarkable margin of just 0.31 points in epic down-the-line conditions at Topocalma. Competitive windsurfing doesn’t get better than this.
After Chile, the next stop on tour was Ho’okipa for the MFC Maui Pro Am. The planet’s most iconic beach delivered dream conditions — mast-high sets, strong trade winds, and the kind of playground that lets riders unleash everything.
Early rounds tested all-around skills with one jump and two waves; for the final, it was all about wave riding, with the best two waves counting. And what a final it was — Marc once again proved he’s a major force, taking second place in Maui.

Windy, Windier, Windiest Ever? Pozo!
Heading into the European leg of the tour, starting with a blistering windy Pozo event, Marc came armed with the first production sails of his new signature line — the Blacktip Team Carbon.
Marc looked unstoppable at the 2025 Gran Canaria Gloria Windsurf World Cup, scoring a perfect 10 with a monumental stalled double forward on the opening buzzer of the semi-final. Even with that flawless 10-point ride under his belt, he couldn’t quite find the ramp needed for a pushloop forward to overtake Köster and secure a spot in the final.
Paré ultimately finished 4th, after an epic showdown with local ripper Marino Gil in the double elimination — a battle that delivered some of the most spectacular action ever witnessed in the history of the event.
Back-to-Back Wins at El Médano
When Marc arrived to El Médano it was clear that he meant business. While others waited, he was already on the water, fine-tuning his setup and making sure every detail was dialed in. That commitment paid off.
Marc delivered the two highest scoring heats of the entire contest—a 22.33 in the semis and a 20.39 in the final—securing a well-deserved win as he defends his 2024 event title. Just as importantly, the result tightens the gap between him and World Tour leader Marcilio Browne.
In the final, Marc launched the biggest jump of the day, scoring an 8.27 for a massive double forward. Paired with seamless full rail turns and technical frontside 360s, it was a masterclass in wave riding—and enough to put him at the top of the current event leaderboard.
North Sea Mayhem: Marc Paré Claims Back-to-Back Win on Sylt
The 2025 Sylt World Cup tested the PWA World Tour’s athletes with some of the toughest conditions seen in years, yet Marc Paré rose to the challenge, claiming his second consecutive victory at the iconic North Sea event. With this win, Marc moves into the overall lead ahead of the season finale in Maui on October 13th.
Marc arrived at Sylt well-prepared, spending several weeks across northern Europe — in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden — chasing conditions similar to what he would face at the event. That dedication, combined with careful equipment preparation, allowed him to tackle Sylt’s punishing waves and onshore winds with confidence.
Sylt remains one of the most unique stops on the tour, with massive crowds and electric energy. This year, around 200,000 spectators lined the beach, creating an atmosphere unlike any other event. In these demanding conditions, Marc delivered top-level performances, demonstrating why he’s one of the sport’s most versatile and consistent athletes.
After wins in Tenerife, podiums in Chile and Maui, and a solid finish in Pozo, Marc is now on Maui, ready to compete at the Aloha Classic, chasing the World Title after a stellar season.
Good luck on Maui! Go Marc! Go Moritz!
