The all-new Blackbird WS Foil Board is our dedicated windsurfing foil board designed to fly at maximum speeds with an emphasis on control and performance. The compact shape targets the entire spectrum of windsurf foiling; from entry-level freeride to performance freeracing. The design features a user-friendly configuration with a generous volume that provides stability while floating and a platform to quickly pump the board into flight mode. The tail cut-outs give the board quick release and turbocharged acceleration before lifting onto the foil. This, in combination with a beveled nose to provide lift on occasional touch-downs for a smooth and forgiving glide. All the all the Blackbird WS is the ideal board for riders who want to get serious about foil windsurfing and push their abilities from zero to hero.

This top-quality and technologically advanced high-spec Biax Carbon has a perfect weight-to-stiffness ratio due to its very fine weave and dynamic flex. For extreme stiffness, the bottom features 30 degrees Bias Carbon and PVC sandwich, and for strength, the deck features 45-degree Bias Carbon with double PVC sandwich for durability. For optimal load distribution and durability, the construction features a PVC stringer in the spine of the boards. The rails are reinforced with direction carbon to create optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio. We have shaved off every possible gram using a thinner layer of brushed paint. The artwork is applied with water-based tattoo stickers, very light-weight with beautiful bold colors. Even the non-slip has been reduced where it is not needed. We also use a self-regulating Goretex ยฉ Airvent which allows air to pass back and forth between the foam core and the exterior of the board whilst being completely waterproof. The double-layer membrane of Goretex on either side of a rubber O-ring prevents pressure build-up inside the board, minimizing the risk for de-lamination caused by overpressure inside the board.
Hot-Coat Finish
All G6 boards feature a hot-coat paint finish. This process combines the colour pigment with the outer layer of a hard epoxy gel coat, this improves the board colour longevity, making it almost impossible to stratch off, it produces an extremely UV-resistant coating that ensures the boards colour resists fading in strong sunlight, all of this whilst saving weight by replacing the base coat paint, and two layers of top coat paint

Tail cut out
The tail cut-outs provide for quick release and turbo-charged acceleration before lifting onto the foil.
Contours
The geometry is designed to minimize the hydrodynamic drag while maximizing aerodynamic performance. Designed with a high volume on a compact outline for optimized stability both during flight and while on the runway. Cutaways help reduce the waterline, making takeoff and touchdowns more efficient.
Beveled nose rails
Landings and relaunches are effortless due to the beveled nose and the rocker in the nose. Features that ensure a smooth and forgiving ride without getting stuck in chops during flight.
Parallel outlines
The parallel outline offers the perfect balance between performance, power, and control in foiling, combined with a generous volume for stability while floating and a platform to pump the board into flight mode quickly. It is easy to uphaul your sail in light winds thanks to its wide outline and thick shape.

I have been spending more and more time on the foil lately and I am enjoying riding the Blackbird WS. It's obviously not as wide as the full-on foil racing boards, but I like that since it makes the board easier to control when you're in flight. It also has a nice touchdown, so when you hit the water it pops straight back up. All and all it feels incredibly balanced and it looks quite sexy too.
