Maria Svensson

Meet Maria—one of the most fiercely determined windsurfers around. She learned the basics in a single summer in Pozo Izquierdo, and then took on the rugged waves of Western Australia’s desert coast to master down-the-line wave sailing. Known around Gnaraloo camp not just for her hardcore wave-riding skills, but also for her talents as a medical doctor, Maria often spends her evenings stitching up reef cuts for fellow surfers. We’re proud to have this fearless wave chaser and healer on the team!
